@Hell Angel I honestly can't agree more.

This is just genius if they can get this going for around less than $300 for something that would finally let basic laptop users play decent games! Anyone who would want to game on their laptop would want to do so plugged in anyways, making this probably the most ideal solution.
lol I don't think so. such a deal would be made public, because it would not be cheap.
100% man.

Its just bs. It would be the perfect media player with the camera.

I love the zune for style, its insanely sexy, and looks like it will last. But the problem is there is like 10 hd radio stations in canada. at most. haha

so there really isn't a point for it here.

cowan has a really decent player.. but it don't got wifi, and honestly in a touch mediaplayer, today, its needed.

like I said earlier. I would maybe get this if they reduced the price by another $20 or so. but for $329 (cdn) for a 32gb, when you can buy a 32gb flash drive for $40? its just a ripp honestly. they have no excuse to be selling it for this much.
would they work with the new iPod touch models? (32+64)
? looks exactly like the HP one..
not the nano franchise in general.

im sure if you were to look at popularity with the nano vs touch, it would be the touch. because it is really in demand.

less maybe sold but thats because its more expensive, but almost everyone wants an ipod touch.

Specifically I want exactly this;

A 64GB iPod Touch with camera/mic (along with the 2nd gen features) for under $400 (I would do anything to get the money to get it as soon as possible.)

thats my perfect player.

one I would be okay with; 32gb (2nd gen with 3.1) and the headphone/remote/mic, for under $300 (CDN). so about $270 american?
its just bullcrap. lol The truth is they couldn't find a way to keep it as thin or thiner than it was with a camera.

so they just said fk it.

an iPod touch with a camera/mic would be the end to all other media players as we know it.

like honestly.. they put it in the nano for an extra what $20? you don't think they could have put it in their most popular item right now?
This is one of the worst things I have seen, in my lifetime. Adding a slider (increasing risk of the damn thing breaking..), isn't going to please me. No UMD, so all my old games are crap.

I have a psp-1000, I've never really liked how it is. Ever since I saw it the first time, I wanted the second analog nub. The games would be easier to control and really allow game companies to produce games that will properly play well on the system. But now, they have changed the look, looks like something you can find at a children's store under spy gadgets.

Horrible, looks like a cheap toy.

Not only does the original system look more attractive, but it also looks more confortable. This system looks to be extremely uncomfortable for the hand placement, and the buttons are too big. Instead of making things bigger, and pointless, they could have thought on ways to improve the system. Not ways to make it different (but exactly the same/worse).

I wouldn't buy this, even if i was offered it for $20. Hell.. I wouldn't even take this for free.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a friend who's taken a job in a security field and the employer doesn't allow cameras on cellphones. He's currently happy with an iPhone 3GS and would definitely consider an Android device but is having trouble finding a decent phone with no camera. The only caveat is that for whatever reason he doesn't want a BlackBerry. Does anyone else make a decent smartphone sans camera? Thanks!"
