After trying his hand as a small-time music instructor in Atlanta during high school, Ross decided while at the University of Georgia to figure out some way to fully assimilate his life into the internet, joining then-small time gaming blog Joystiq back in July 2005. A dozen trade shows and a couple of bachelor's degrees later (Telecommunication Arts, Mathematics, and a certificate in New Media), in December 2008 he joined Engadget, and in April 2009 he headed out to San Francisco to serve as the site's Associate Editor and West Coast presence. He often mistakenly thinks you can solve any major problem just with potatoes.
